Thank **** I was born a Mackem back in '66. I have seen my team bring home a major trophy, followed by a wonderful open top bus parade through the City streets. Days I shall never forget. Had I been born a Geordie on exactly the same day I'd have missed out on that one glimpse of the promised land. How depressing.
