Very odd that. All over, 4-0. Some decent performances and goals, even though it dropped off a little after all the subs. A clean sheet which is nice but my word the German side were pony !
Could that team be very close to what we would play if the season started today. Think so. With Willcock, Roberts and Amos...plying for dozzell and Adomeh spots. Shodipo I think is high on pecking order but off the bench ( as I expect Albert to be when things settle down) But I do expect us to get a starting RB before the season starts
I know Col!!! In the preseason matches Dickie and Clark Slater have always started together.. and Beale likes 4 at the back..so Dunne at this moment looks to be the backup. Haven't seen much of the preseason so no idea if Dickie is playing well again ...but certainly end of last season Dunne was streets ahead of Dickie for me

We conceded in the 1st minute ! If we don't get a proper striker in we're ****ed. Bonne doesn't understand the offside rule ! Dickie had been excellent in first 2 games and Salter had been decent. We have no spark in midfield today so far.
Bonne stays onside that time lol ! Brilliant play from Chair and it's 1-1 just before half time. Expect alot of changes in 2nd half again.
Strange game. We seemed to have no answer for them for a long period. However, there were about 2 open play chances and a good cross from a free kick. I feel this attacking setup of three doesn't really work. Better to have 1 striker and someone to play the midfield. Chair keeps dropping back too much. Field looks... Directionless and hesitant.
I don't think thats Field's right position, I'm really worried about Johansen against better sides, he's just not creating anything. I hope these supposed transfers arrive quickly cos they're not gonna have much time to be integrated into tge system. Hopefully Willock, Amos and Roberts can all get fully fit and improve us alot.
