I get what you’re saying and agree to an extent but the transfer fee is £49m plus add ons (add ons we’ll likely never get) and I hope we’re getting the whole £49m up front as we won’t be seeing any of that in instalments that’s for sure. Yes if we went down we’d get 25m but the fact we’ve stayed up and selling our best player for £49m stinks a bit, like he’s a 60-70m player so we’re actually losing 10-20m on him imo. In other news Firpo is out for 8 weeks and Marsch has had discussions with Orta about potentially bringing someone in in that position, well let’s hope so because if we weren’t getting one before we defo need one now.

Personally I don't want any of our players injured(only the ones who want to leave) but I really wanted Firpo to prove me wrong on the pitch. Seems he's caught the Bamford bug.
He was a fantastic signing, but we invested in him and gave him a chance and Bielsa helped his game as well. But he did sulk in a few games prior to our run in which could have cost us. His head was turned at some point. So I'm glad he has gone because the whole tranfer saga has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Agreed. Hope he’s the exception this season. Will be interesting to see how many injuries we pick up before season begins
