But it's those 'City fathers' saying 'let 'em all in' not where they live though oh no, they dont want that, .. do you?
Definitely a sad day for us fans but I'm pleased for Raphinha as he's fulfilling his childhood dream. The way he performed when the chips were down was both amazing and inspirational. It also shows what a true professional can do when he has talent, desire and a will to succeed. Of course it's hard to take that we'll never see him doing that again for Leeds but I truly believe he's earn't his move. Not sure Kalvin grew up wishing to play for Man City by the way.
Doesn't JFH live there? I'd rather have him than that other Harrogate resident - whatshisface that manages(?) england.
More importantly, which authorities allowed them to get into so much debt? I actually had a decent conversation with a Barca fan on a plane recently. He was telling me that it's as much politics as anything for them. They want devolution or independence (can't remember which), but the overlords in Madrid are very hostile to even the very suggestion. This is why you see so many Catalan flags in Scotland, & vice versa. Both after the same thing. Anyhow, crux of it is that the locals are so, so proud of their team, & hate the very thought of Real winning the toss, far less wining honours. This, I think, is the driving force behind the ridiculous efforts to keep up. Wasn't there a scandal some years back where the local authority contributed significantly to whatever Real's particular crisis was at that time. Big money, as I recall. But nowt for Barca. Fuel on the already blazing fire. Can you remember this scandal, Este? I may have got it wrong. (No surprise there then!).
That’s good, it’s in the public domain then so you have proof Mate, not sure if it is the sherry or you’ve caught a dose, get yourself seen to
In the scheme of things that pic means **** all Eire. Like I've said before I don't hero worship anymore. I just support the team. Loyalty from the players as you well know, died years ago.
Love how the deal with Raphinha is openly made public and bragged about that it was done 5 months ago whilst he was and is still under contract with us.
The one thing in the whole sordid affair is the way Raphinha played at the end of the season. He could have sulked and coasted and watched us get relegated. His transfer fee was £25m with relegation and he would have signed for Barcelona weeks ago. He actuall cost Barcelona another £30m. So for that reason I wish him well as we get another crack in the premier league because of him
