Watching highlights could easily have scored 3 or 4. Diaz misses an open goal with an air shot. Carvalho and diaz both hit the post. Salah hits the post. Darwin puts one over from 12 yards out with almost an open goal. Given how we were ‘thrashed’ we created a lot of chances, just rusty finishing. Encouraging signs for sure.

Like I said, no one has said anything about the supporters… You came on here saying you only came to comment because we are talking about United supporters which just isn’t the case. Can’t then moan we are talking about the media getting carried away, when you then turn around and say the United fans couldn’t give a **** about the result. remember the next game is friday at 1:30pm or so. this will be palace so double sessions every day with friday's match being another likely 30mins for 3 teams effort. Whoever organised this tour in this order and not the Austria camp first wants their head examined from a marketing perspective as fans who are screaming for players in thier thousands won't be too happy watching them lose. Not sure if vieiria will be as bothered to pick a really strong side but maybe they will see it as a chance to pick up some revenue.
