Of course these names were all born here but they're from the kind of immigrant families that many Brexit voters wanted to block. The irony is that voters may now have to choose between someone who's family was registered as non-domiciled in the UK and another who has French nationality ... ... just like Boris's dad
I suppose it's also in the interests of the union bosses to just stand and take whatever abuse is dished out to you. Keeps the members in check. It's a bit like abusing footballers. People should be perfectly entitled to give some back if a line is crossed. I doubt it was 'it's an early bath for you Mister Cantona'..... We need to remove the right for people to be dickheads to other people, frankly. With every year that passes there's more to be said for bringing duelling back.
Smug said "Of course these names were all born here but they're from the kind of immigrant families that many Brexit voters wanted to block." No mention of 'illegal'
But you obviously agree.but if they weren’t legal they must of been illegal and nobody I know voting for Brexit were against legal immigrants.
My point is that there's virtually no difference between the EEC MPs, that people didn't like making rules, and the candidates for PM who'll be making rules. You could argue that, since Brexit, our government has been out of control and just making things up as they go along. Immigration. Lord Ashcroft's election day poll of 12,369 voters also discovered that 'One third (33%) [of leave voters] said the main reason was that leaving "offered the best chance for the UK to regain control over immigration and its own borders."'. I've no doubt more people would've admitted that was the main reason but didn't want to appear racist or xenophobic.
Who do we fancy out of the runners and riders then? Tugendhat for me. Anyone already in cabinet can bugger off for my money. We need rid of most of that entire tranche of people. Wallace was the outstanding candidate but he's demonstrated even more why he should have gotten it by not wanting it in the first place.
