Literally none of that is true!
No such thing as a Glock 7, they've never made a porcelain gun, they're Austrian and inexpensive.
They also show up on metal detectors, as they've got lots of metal parts.
Very strange scene, all told. They actually did use Glocks in the film, too.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to stop being American.

 

The two main things that scene gets wrong are
i.) Glocks aren't made of porcelain, but an industrial-strength polymer
ii.) The polymer does show up on x-rays, although given the innards are made of steel they'd likely show up anyway

As opposed to the other things wrong with Die Hard 2, such as it being a Renny Harlin film
