The deal is expected to go through smoothly. The Brazilian ace agreed personal terms several months ago, such was Barcelona's arrogance. The may have got their man, but they have had to pay every penny for him. The highly talented 20yo striker has been high on Victor Orta's wish list for a while, and now that Milan have all but wrapped up the deal for de Kerelaere, Leeds are keen not to miss out on their back-up choice! Kalimuendo spent the last two seasons on loan at Ligue 1 outfit Lens, bagging 12 goals in 32 appearances during the 21/22 season alone. Various sources indicate that Leeds made a 17m bid for him last month, £4m shy of their valuation; however, cash may not be the biggest stumbling block. PSG want a buyback clause inserted in the contract. Morning all Just been watching highlights of city beating gillingham in league one playoff 1999. How different things might have been if gillingham had been able to take a couple of penalties
Good Morning to Matt Doc Ristac Shako WJetc from a dull Bardsey This Frenchman kooks quite fearsome to me Lets Hope Rap can go now are we going to sell Harrison and for how much
Dealing with Barcelona is potential suicide. Last summer they signed a load of freebies like Aguero and Memhis Depay and couldnt register them due to their problems indeed the season was well underway before Aguero got a game. This season there are at least 4 players like Kessie and Christanson freebies as usual but not registered yet. They want to buy Bernardo Silva, Raphinha, the top Polish striker from Bayern and a few more? How? They will need over £200m to do it? players have already taken a big pay cut and those that want to leave cant because they are owed millions in deferred wage payments, for example Frenkie De Jong to Man Utd, Frenkie isnt moving until he gets the £17m he is owed and every player is owed millions. transfer payment scheduled commitments are not being met, so why would anyone deal with these bandits
Who is the second expected target then? Or rather, who is the most likely out of the eleventy billion players that we're linked with?
Wonder what the hold up is with Shackelton to Milwall? Did he fail the medical? Did Reading come in with a better offer?
On a slow transfer day its great to still see the funny things in life: QPR boss Michael Beale has compared new signing Tyler Roberts to Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino
Oh please god, don't let any of ours on a surf board. We don't need season ending injuries before they get to even kick a ball
Marcos always sang his praises too, maybe he was right all along. If he's that good QPR will surely throw us 10m at end of season for him
So raph offer finally in then in writing according to Fab - looks less than Chelsea offer from what we were told and no mention of payment terms.
Whooah, there is poetic licence and then there is that Think Tyler's chance to impress at Leeds went a long time ago because too many fans had given up on him and he knew it. The sad thing is, those people seem to think it is more important being "right" rather than getting behind our players. I hope the lad does really well for them and makes a good career for himself, nothing against him personally
I have had no time for Tyler Roberts for the last 2 seasons, and with good evidence and data. Quite exited when we got him and he was then struck down with injury issues so we never got to see him for his first 18 month. He then started looking a handful for the 23s but not scoring as many as he should. Think he scored 5 or 6 in a couple of seasons for the 23s and most were penalties. Championship first team looking good, fast, tricky and had great skills when it came off, however he was missing chances and Bielsa tried him as a 10. He scored a couple in our promotion season and I thank him for that. But he is completley out of his depth. i really really hope it comes good for the kid but the shirt became too heavy for him and we all know it and so does he
