Might seem a little sexist, but honesty its not. It's more an observation.
I watched some of the England v Norway game last night, two teams who allegedly are among the top nations in the world, yet it looked so amateurish. I hear that the women's game demand equal pay, more TV exposure, lucrative sponsorship deals ..etc etc
Which leads me to this question.
At what level is the highest form of the women's game in relation to the mens game. I know its difficult to compare but where do you put the very best of the women's game in relation to English football pyramid system of which there are over 20 levels, I think they would find it tough even on the lowest level. Take the physicality out of the equation (football has been reduced to a non contact sport anyway) it just looks and feels a substandard product that is being pushed by all the media in order to pander to the politically correct....I'm not buying any of it, watched for about 20 minutes, Won't be doing that again.
