Not too keen on any tbh, quite like the way Penny conducts herself in the commons though. There are some definite no no's in the pack though.
What about Tugendhat? Ben Wallace would've been a good choice. But he was probably not prepared to swim in the **** with all the political shenanigans needed to get the votes.
Don't really know much about him same as Kemi. Hunt, Javid, Braverman and Shapps are definite **** offs. Wallace doesn't seem to be a type with drive and could easily be swayed by the loudest shouters.
Agree about those. Surprised you didn't throw Truss out... or maybe I'm not Nah I disagree about Wallace. Did you see his statement last week when the rest were resigning and he stayed in post? Showed he's his own man. Not only did it demonstrate some degree of integrity in what he said, but also showed a very shrewd and clever move. Would he be a political beast at the despatch box? Not so sure, but he would attract the traditional Tory vote imo.
Really torn about her, i think she has some qualities and ability but is a very Jekyll and Hyde character.
She's plastic mate. No originality, a dangerous mix of dog whistle politics combined with very little brains or substance. But even if you disagree with my bruising assessment, the question is, are there candidates who are better? If the answer is yes then why compromise
Oh there are better candidates but i have to go on how i think the first few votes will go, i don't trust Sunak but have to leave him in my options because i think he will walk the first two rounds and Truss will be similar.
Yeh the ERG/brexiteer vote is split at the moment, but I reckon the others in that bracket will fall away and she'll be the one for them. I've got a feeling Sunak will fall away after the first round... or two.
