    Lets just all agree, just for once, that Bruce was right, I know its a big ask for some of you.

    The team needed time to gel.

    4-4-1-1 was worth trying and we had little option.

    Wickham and Ji needed time to settle in.

    Some tough games and a tough start.

    The Newcastle game knocked us.

    The fans have been unreasonable.

    Next week we have Man U and we can all accept anything more than defeat would be fantastic but unprobable, even for me. A good effort is all I ask from that game and to leave with pride in tact.

    We then have 4 games and we run out of excuses. We all know and accept that all games in the prem are hard and nothing can be taken for granted, however, some games we simple expect to win.

    Fulham at home
    Wigan at home
    Wolves away
    Blackburn at home.

    The team have had time to gel, 4-4-2 has been shown to work, Wickham has shown he is ready, these are the easier games, Newcastle game gone and crowd showed yesterday they are well on side.

    12 points up for grabs, a draw at Wolves I would accept but the others must be wins, no excuses.

    I think that 8 points would be a decent haul from them 4 games...Anything more would be a bonus...

    I expect a minimum of 9.
    The three home games must be wins. Fulham rubbish away from home the other 2 rubbish. Wolves hopeful of at least a point.

    A good November could see confidence soar.

    PS. However this is SAFC and nothing ever goes the way we expect.

    Ipswich fan here!

    Very nice to see Connor open his account for you yesterday!!

    <cheers>

    How was his game overall? From what I can gather Bruce has only used him as a sub so far??

    The lad will play for England in the future, good luck to him and you lot!!

    <ok>

    Are we not being a bit disrespectful to some of the premierships lesser sides, A lot of fans were doing this last season with our final seven games all winnable and 18 to 20 points a likely haul, but we now know this is SAFC and it certainly didnt work out as a lot planned. Now after Man U were at it again saying the next four are there for the taking, did we not loose to Fulham at home and Wolves away last season so no games in this league are easy, I too would like to see a massive points return in November but please remember this is our club were talking about so take nothing for granted.

    Not taking anything for granted and certaily dont mean any disrespect. The point is, if we are to be a top half team and thats what we all want, home games against these teams must be won, I'm sure they will feel the same.

    This ^^^^^^ The majority of us thought that the points would be in the bag against the likes of Swansea and Norwich, but we all know what happened there!

    Them fans of ours should not be expecting too much & should be grateful if I manage to keep them up.

    I agree we SHOULD win these sorts of games but some have come to EXPECT us to win, there is a big difference and yes we should be looking to get a good return points wise next month,so fingers crossed.

    Seen quite a bit of Fulham, Wigan, Wolves and Blackburn recently and they might not be as easy as you think to get the points off. They'll make you scrap for them.

    We will beat Manure, then lose the next four.

    This is SAFC after all!
