Kemi has nailed a few labour wokies from the dispatch box recently and doesn't hold back when she has caught them lying.

Liz Truss now confirmed and another Tory MP Rehman Chishti has thrown their hat into the ring.

Who would have thought that the Conservative party had so much talent lurking in the background <whistle>

Boris *is* one of the establishment. He's related to a lot of European royalty. You don't get into the Bullingdon club by being an oik. Unfortunately for him he was on the 'what gaff will he commit next?' radar after being sacked as a Times journo way back.

Another pakistani, the conservative party is riddled with them.
Chishti was born in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan,
How low can the UK sink?

Given he had the backing of what, the Times, Telegraph, Mail and Express then he had the general backing of a lot of the printed press.

He was famously sacked from the Times (At the tender age of 23 - so he had connections to get the job with no background as a journo) for lying to his editor and trying to cover it up. As an MP he was sacked by Michael Howard from party vice chair (party VP is good progress for someone only 3 years into being an MP) for lying to him about an affair.
He's on tape agreeing to get a journos address so his mate could beat them up. He was a journo at the Telegraph, where he made a few gaffs - eg 'piccaninnies' isn't a good word for an MP to use. There was a conflict of issue around that role plus some other financials which I can't recall but I remember the Speaker having a go at him for disrespecting the House. When mayor of London he started and championed that garden bridge thing - £40M got spent on who knows what with not a brick laid. There's the illegal water cannon too. I think that's where he took a dislike to May as she was the one who cancelled them.
At the FCO he had some unfortunate history before he started - writing a ditty [albeit a funny one] about the Turks (and warned about them joining the EU and then offering to help them join), had slagged off Obama, then in post he undermined Mays party line and negotiating position on Brexit. He also said that Nazani Zahari (sp?) was teaching journalism in Iran, which got her five more years on her sentence. There's a docu about his time at the FCO, with a great scene where he fails to pay any attention during his briefings, with his staff rolling their eyes.
As PM? There's loads, but illegally proroguing Parliament to avoid scrutiny, trying to stop that MP from falling foul of the standards committee (where he wanted to change the rules to help him) and repeatedly lying to the public and Parliament, some of it more than once on the same thing.

Thatcher made a great quote about leaders shouldn't be bending the rules, which sums it all up and which is my main gripe with him.

Another Paki grooming gang sympathiser - the issue would be swept under the carpet even more than it already has been.

Luckily he has little chance of winning because he’d be an absolute disaster - not only for the country but for the hundreds of innocent underage white girls sexually abused on a daily basis by his fellow pakis.

Aided and abetted by the useless plod.

This is the Thatcher quote which sums up why I found Boris annoying: The first duty of Government is to uphold the law. If it tries to bob and weave and duck around that duty when its inconvenient, if government does that, then so will the governed, and then nothing is safe—not home, not liberty, not life itself.
I liked this one though: “I don’t mind how much my Ministers talk, so long as they do what I say.”

Uber? Only seen a headline which had Macron in its sights. Hopefully HMG aren't implicated, though I'm not holding my breath on that one. I'll have a read...
