Not sure we can read too much into that, our first pre season game and they have played a few. We didn’t create anything wich is a continuation of last season but they are a regular cl team so let’s not panic yet. If we continue to sign the players we are and we still don’t create chances then maybe we should take up marbles

 

Probably cause they did not get to play the mighty Tigers, just look at the reaction of the Fenerbahce players at the whistle and the manager , boy they must have thought that was the CL Final, they were so happy to win against us.

Good that the fans stayed behind. Half of ours leave 5 mins before the end. Most of the rest are gone within 2 minutes, not even bothering to applaud the team off.
Good that the players thank the fans like that .... even more so when so many turn up for a friendly and an hour or so away from Istanbul.
There's a lot we can take from them. It would be great if we started doing similar.

 

When i've clicked the translate button on tweets a fair few mention money laundering from Turkish fans. I've never bothered to highlight them on here because I thought it was just rival fans.

 

We were their 4th friendly too so miles ahead in their schedule

 

I washed some money in my jeans once but it turned out ok, look at it as player laundering don't sound bad then.

 

It's what a team in harmony with the fans looks like. The players know who they're fighting for and the fans return the favour by travelling in massive numbers to a pre season that's not even in their city.

 

As ever in pre-season it's a case of get fit, don't get injured, don't get sent off, and sod the result. What matters comes on the 30th of this month.

I personally enjoyed the game, we looked comfortable in the first half, and with all the changes didn't look as well organised in the 2nd. But to only lose by 2 late goals is nothing to get upset about.
