Sainsbury got a good offer on Kronenbourg 1664 ... 15 cans for £11 ... OK it's not the proper French stuff but put in the freezer for a good stretch and they are very refreshing nonetheless....

We do all we can , I bought a walkthrough thing for them to get into the garden , Mrs J never uses slug pellets , hopefully they will come back . We do see the occasional Hedgehog droppings in the front garden and neighbours mention the odd sighting , but they are very few and far between sadly .

My 3 kids have all talked their neighbours into having a small hole in the bottom of connecting fences to allow hogs to travel through the gardens.
Been a very heavy decline in population over the last 10 years or more though.

A dozen or so of decent sized logs up a shady corner if you have room is a good attraction, throw in a few handful of leaves for good measure. A fresh bowl of water nearby too.

sadly we don’t have that kind of space . We bought 2 hedge hog hideaways last sep , one in the back under a bush , one in the front under a bush . Nothing was interested .

The amount of people i've had to tell not to put milk out is alarming.

Leave them there mate, you never know.
Found his/her nest under some black polythene after the photo, didn't want to disturb it any longer, so see if it's there tomorrow and post a photo, looks like it likes it there to build a nest, they're not supposed to stay in a garden for long, as they like to move around, the bloke at the centre said that's not necessarily true, if they have room and plenty of natural food they'll stay.

    Marnin

Off to another event today, season is in full swing now

Big agricultural show this one, so even though it will be full of sheep fancying farmer types. It's usually good for a decent wedge

    Peace <peacedove>

If your mrs did that, you would end up a fat bastard. I'm trying to cut down on the sugar, but not doing very well at the mo.
