Quite frankly only SWP really convinced me that Sunday. He was quick, technically very convincing, went after every ball - compared to that, Faurlin didn´t really look very good on the pitch. He can surely do better but like with AD he didn´t show that pretty often recently.

Take Faurlin out of our side at the moment it's game over ... He is our heartbeat ... Some of the worst comments ever... He is getting noticed and will become a target come Jan so some of the comments may get their wish .... Pace **** me he was opposite the best there is currently in Modric Bale Lennon and Parker

    Wise up

Agreed on the pace, but still think Faurlin is a good player. We need pace in quite a few areas, also need to show a bit more aggresiveness in closing players down and determination in getting/winning the ball, we can look a bit namby pamby at times (if thats even a phrase?!)

I am slightly stunned by this thread and, for a change, with DT on this one. For me Ali has been our best player this year, and is certainly the one I have heard non QPR fans praise the most. If you really think he is not good enough God help us. BTW great players without searing pace - Beckenbauer, Bobby Moore, David Beckham, Hoddle, for a starter. But we wouldn't want any of these in their prime would we?

Wilkins had no pace but was possibly our best midfielder last time we were in prem. The problem yesterday was Derry was knackered, he's usually the workhorse and taraabt didn't chase anything as per usual levying Faurlin and Barton chasing shadows in the first half. When mackie came on there was a much better balance to the side, due to his workrate

Can't understand the knockers, I mean What are you on, if you can not see he is our best player at the moment we may as well forget it and start talking about relegation; if he goes in Jan we will be going down.

the game is about opinion, its just some opinions are a pile of cack, Ali has been our most consistant player all season and if were not careful we will lose him to a bigger club.

Good on you sir! Pretty much kills off this argument. It seems that as QPR fans we have pretty muched slagged off the entire team one-by-one and we've only played 10 games!!! get behind the lads, YOU RRR'SSS!!!

We need to cut the guy some slack - there's a period of acclimatisation needed in the Prem. I think Faurlin's done well so far. I'm more worried about Taarabt. He's not the same player that was too good for other teams last year. Someone needs to get on his case - and NW is the man to do it.

I think along with Young and Ferdinand Faurlin has been our most consistent player this season. I have said on here a number of times I'd like to see him in central midfield where he could hurt the opposition more, his deeper defensive role doesn't showcase the best of his talents.

Thread is unnecessary regarding Faurlin, if you were to pick a fault in our midfield, and i'm sorry to say this, then it would be Derry. Was marvellous last year and even at the start of this season, but I really do worry about his legs as the games come thick and fast this season.

The Prem is made for Ali and Ali is made for the Prem. Indeed he must be good because Ray Wilkins says so! He will be a fine player for years to come, just wish he would get a free kick on target!!!!!

keep on typing bath tub How have I shut you up? ... Just think what has been said here is way off the mark and if i could i would consider a dirty protest for those brothers who keep losing the faith. If a little **** pops out and falls on the floor don't expect me to stand by and cover it up with a small pile of sticks ... it get pressure washed and then scrubbed in Jeyes Fluid a la carte
