Hes gonna tell you that story about him and his mates on a stag do with a hedgehog and a loo roll holder. Its not a nice story.
The last few autumn's we've found a few young ones that are roaming around in the day, a sign of a troubled hog, the first one was close to the weight it should be so we nursed it a fed it (dry cat food)until it was a healthier weight then took it to the local hog hospital, where the fella knows when to release them back into the wild.weve found 3 others since but unfortunately non of those survived. Apparently they get lung worm when they are underweight and rarely survive it.
Sad , but really good that you try and save them . we used to get some in the garden , but none last year or this .
