Okay guys, in this unseasonable weather, and with only Wimbledon (okay could be a firework display of a mens final) and Ladies Euros on the tele, who is doing what to pass their time today?

I'm guessing Sparks will be depleting his Peroni stock to avoid dehydration.

We are away in Poole so I'm likely to be helping my grandaughter keep cool in her paddling pool while also rehydrating.

What other novel past times are out there?

I'll have to remember that reason Bluey, but I'll have to go some to avoid taking any back. <ok>

Bloody hot up here in Bucks - and apparently it's going to get hotter. :emoticon-0141-whew::emoticon-0141-whew:

17 days off work to create a hardstanding for our cars at the top of our back garden. Not a great plan !!

Don’t like the heat and decided against the Parkrun yesterday as did many by looking at the results.
Prefer the shade so will be keeping out if the sun for the next couple of weeks.

Good luck with that LLF. Better to get some floodlights and work through the night!

I dont mind being out in the sun, just dont like the heat, especially when its humid. Spent a lot of time outside with my hobbies.

Irrespective of weather there's always stuff to be done on the small holding though when its hot its just the essentials.
Quite a few things to sort this week as we're staying just outside Rhayader for a week from next Saturday.
Royal Welsh Show for 4 days from 18th. Will spend a few hours a day stood in the Wye trying to tempt trout and grayling to take my flies as well. Early mornings and a couple hours up to dark.

As for today, had a lazy morning (still feeling tired after my bout of covid), after lunch a few hours doing animal stuff.

Doesn't effect me as I'm cool by default :emoticon-0103-cool:<whistle>

But seriously, I hope everyone is taking precautions.

Start(for about the tenth time) my West Wing box set whilst consuming copious water melon.

No need for precautions at my age. Forgotten what they were for anyway. <doh>

No one on here has suggested any sexual activity in this bloody heat. Sweaty, bodily contact not recommended.

Bunch of wimps, it’s only been two days! I had to endure two WEEKS of 34c + in Cuba. The answer is keep the fluid intake up no matter what you drink and use plenty of factor cream. Stay safe all you oldies, and maybe the lurker of Llandaff should remove the Mask to breathe easier hahahaha

Not long got in, so re-hydrating.<cheers>

Dont use the aircon in the car very often, just open the windows.
