I'm not sure they have. Davies has always been a good defender, just not a great FB/ WB. LCB fits him like a glove and he's getting the appreciation he finally deserves. Emerson reminds me of Davies, good defender but not a great WB, it's why I felt he done well against tricky wingers in bigger games but was almost anonymous against inferior sides where he was expected to get forward more. Doherty had a great month or so under Conte, I'll hold fire on saying he's improved though, need to see him continue that this season, prior to that purple patch I think you'd be forgiven for thinking Doherty never played football before.
Interesting to see Levy out there and leading the way, too. I wonder if he's looking to do some deals while they're out there? Odd to see him carrying his own bags, though.
