Back from Aqua Park, having a couple of ice cold red Kronenburg in the garden, feels like being on holiday.

That Virgin box turned up @luvgonzo, got a Sauv Blanc on chill for with barbecue.

All is good.

Yes mate brilliant, Cat Power was good, always wanted to see the Pixies but never did, that one ticked off now, only downside PJ didn't do Black,great atmosphere which Vedder commented on, seen them a number of times and he's not one of these ' you're the best crowd ever' types. Had a great if not too boozy a weekend, just back home, think I'll have a few days off it now.

Recently went to France for Le Mans that red Kronie was just under 10 Euro for 40 bottles. Went down well 33c

Spiced Rum was included in the drinks package, beer was poor, so after trying a couple of those went on the rum, got to counter, girl says single or double and so it went, lost count, obviously the heat made it worse, had tobdrink lots of water too.

Not the same without Kim Deal.

My very first live experience of theirs was this. Awesome.

Seen them half a dozen times since, only once without Deal.

Brought these back from France in Feb as it goes but hasn't felt right to drink yet, weather needs to be sunny and hot.

Will be back in France August, and I'll be buying some more!

Weird, that's their best song. I'm a big Cat Power fan, really good.

First time we've seen them and they've not done it. Holds a special place because of my brother.

She opened with Say, which is one of my favourites of hers

I saw Kim Deal play but not with the Pixies. With The Breeders at Reading in either 92/93 ish
 
Just back from the event I've been trading at. And to be honest it was fukin ****. Beautiful grounds, nice set up, good bar, decent stage, stuff for the kids to do etc

I just think everybody ****ed off to the beach today, so it was dead. Back again tomorrow, gonna take my Gazebo and set up in the grounds rather than in the house.

Cold beer and Tunes time now
