For services to charity. Nice one. So glad it’s not for services to sport or football or other “doing his job” stuff

Didn’t know about the MBE . Well done . And as Marcus says, he talks about charity work rather than being big headed about the advantages of fame and fortune

Sounds like a sky fan, who believes if you aren't doing the flashy every week then there is not much ability.

He has plenty of trophies and accolades for football considering the "lack of ability". Also no mean feat to be a record holder as only Liverpool captain to win six different trophies! Liverpool with a history of one of the best teams in the world that he has made over 300 appearances for and captained for 6 or 7 seasons.

Yeah. There were some on the dark side always moaning about him. I suppose every club has them; so called expert judges of football who give young players hoyers just because they don’t set up an attack or score with every ball. They’ll always be with us.

I'm too old to have "heroes" but Jordan Henderson is an absolutely top class human being.

He has a great work ethic, he's made the most of what he has, he's a leader, he's humble and he gives back to others. If everyone did these things, the world would be a much better place.

He stood by what he believes which is absolutely fine (only a very small minority of morons think otherwise).

Liverpool fans expressed their views and that's fine too in my opinion - it's what democracy is all about.

They have no problem singing the National Anthem when they are at Wembley for a cup final... I used to admire the Liverpool fans, but that has just been blown apart by this, totally disrespectful and unnecessary

Liverpool fans don’t sing the National anthem for cup finals at Wembley. They sing YNWA over the top of it.

How come it’s okay for the scousers to boo when the queen died and boo for the new king, as that’s freedom of speech. When other fans boo through the minute silence for Hillsborough why does freedom of speech not apply then?

Was never that bothered about Liverpool and their fans, I grew up in the 80s and they were winning the title every year seemingly. I went over there one year when we were in the Prem when Philips scored in the 1-1 draw and we called into a pub where we parked up. I got talking to a Scouser who couldn't get over why we sacked Peter Reid and specified that he made us successful. I asked why they sacked Roy Evans since he made them successful and got them into Europe - the response? We're better than that! After that I can't stand the scouse twats
