And now apparently a group of cabinet Ministers are going to tell him to go. This could be it.

He has no dignity. No respect for the office as he's shown time. and again

He will force them to go for 1922 change and no confidence vote

He will He the only pm to have 2 no confidence votes etc etc. Mind you he is only pm to be criminally fined, have his blow jobs publicised and of course be caught lying 450 times while in office.

Boris epitomises to me all that's wrong with politics today (and probably always has been throughout history tbh).
A man motivated by self-interest rather than a desire to do something useful, who sees the job as a career game rather than a public service.
A man who was hopelessly unsuited to the job from the beginning, but blinded to that by his personal ambition. Breaking the laws his own government imposes on the country, then caught blatantly lying to parliament and the people to try and cover it up, and finally trying to pass off the transgressions as trivial and unworthy of scrutiny.
A man who puts shamelessness and tenacity above honour and integrity, and tries to plough on despite his support evaporating.
I don't even think he's a bad person, just someone of modest intellect too full of self-importance to realise that he's way out of his depth.

The changing story on the groper was the final straw for some which imo utterly and completely disqualifies them from public service as this had gone so far beyond any shred of acceptability or ethics.

The "he wins elections" brigade should actually all be drummed out of office on principle alone.

The issue is without an absolute hammering enough to scare the rest into line it's very very difficult to walk this back from the acceptability of lies, fillandering, corruption, cheating, bullying, sexual abusing ****baggery.

There is almost nothing they have not forgiven over brexit and covid times ranging from law breaking to grand scale larceny

    All coming out now.

The soviet Republic of London has now tarred Johnson further. He apparently met Russian oligarch in private with no aides in 2018 and later appointed said oligarchs son to house of Lords.... AGAINST advice that it was a national security risk.

Most tories seem to need a deep audit by hmrc cos they've so many back handers they are less legal than drug dealers and loan sharks

He's also someone who's always been in a position where can he feel like consequences don't apply to him. As we're seeing now with his refusal to quit. He'll just keep on going and winging it until he's forcibly removed.

At least he can say he's had the pleasure of sacking gove.

I'm fairly sure everyone would like the pleasure of telling gove to do one.

    And Patel next?

Apparently herr himmler also told him to resign so is he brave enough ough to tell his stormtrooper to **** off as well?

Difficult to see how the likes of Patel, Schaps etc. stay on.

It'll just be Dorries, Raab, Truss and Rees-Mogg at this rate.

Funny how they're all "fully supportive" cronies one minute, then backstabbers the next.
It's like the assassination of Caesar - the seedy side of human nature never changes.

you would assume those who voted confidence last time would have been on the cabinet or in those juicy jobs.

well it was private ballot so you can only assume.

All those who stood up and vociferously defended his antics then and are not telling him to resign are morally bankrupt anyway.

If they are going in and saying sorry boss but this is it. i wish it were not then fine but when they "resign" (half expect a new job as a deal to support the next pig to the trough) then they are pretending they have moral fiber when in fact they forgave countless prior lies and scandals.

Boris knowing he put a groper into a position of power to meet all these people "privately" then telling more lies that he didn't/ heard unfounded/ sort of knew/forgot is par for course.

perhaps having a groper next to them has put the wind up them and finally brought it home that he doesn't care about anyone.

Go back far enough and they did. They were all happy to follow in his slipstream even though it must have been obvious at least to some of them that he's entirely unsuited to the role.

    **** is going.

Someone has explained exactly how embarrassing his landslide defeat following a 1922 rule change will be and all the rags have black text like its a royal death

    The absolute **** rags.

Now the tories will have a feeding frenzy til October and nothing at all will be done. They have a responsibility to elect a new leader within 7 days imo.

No way there'll be a proper new leader within 7 days. Nor is that long-term really desirable; there should be a proper contest. Most likely would seem to be to have Raab as caretaker (<yikes>) while the process goes through.

Who will it be though? Can't see it being Dorries, Rees-Mogg or Raab. Not sure how much Patel or Truss are tainted by affiliation either. Gove, Zahawi, Sunak and Javid (though presumably the last two habe an agreement about which one of them will run, with the other supporting) would be my frontrunners. I know people like Braverman, Hunt, Wallace and Baker are also mentioned but not sure how much support they really command.

Still likely to be someone pretty right-wing, not least because a lot of the more moderates are no longer MPs after Boris purged them.

They need to get rid of the lump ASAP and leaving him in charge to malinger from now (7th july) for 3 months will only lead to utter chaos.

The should appoint an interim PM if it needs be. If that is RAAB the mad man then so be it. cabinet needs to be appointed, ukraine support, Stop the brexit law, etc etc, etc.

As an example the NI gobshite resigned this morning so now there's no assembly nor no secretary so that is in feect not under any rule at all.

    On who it will be:

    aks the following questions:

    1. Who is already tarnished. (sunak)
    2. Who is hated by everyone (gove)
    3. who is an utter moron (Mogg, dorries and truss) they are utter idiots, everyone knows that truss didn't even know where ukraine was in january.
    4. Who is white. lets face it this is party of racist bigots and they have a lot of peopel who ought to know better but seem happy with the rwanda debacle. People how are happy to appeal to white trash, foreigner haters. Can we really see the tory mob putting anyone who is not white into no 10? they seem happy to have her himmler patel as thier attack dog but i sincerely doubt they'd go further than using her as their fixer

This doens't exactly leave a long list.

Its an idiot or someone they hate.

BUT in truth look at the list of people who walked months ago.

The people who will likely run:

Sunak - he has been proven dodgy on the tax thing. that precludes him (or should)
Truss - has broken international law. was laughed out of Moscow and couldn't even get her facts right. she's an empty vessel posting on social media rather than a real candidate. Is white though so never discount the stupidity of the Tories.
Wallace - the old white male compromise candidate. quite and not tarnished
Hunt - the prior stalking horse. the guy nobody takes seriously. but again is white. he was shafted by boris for daring to run last time and is not tarnished by boris love spunk
Javid - the thinking mans choice. Has done every role (do fast nobody can tell if he's done anything right or wrong) a rampant xenophobe and ladder puller upper. that will go down well with the gammon but need i say more about his actual chances?
Herr Patel- the fascist choice. the person who would wear black with little skulls on uniform if it came to war. found out as a bully and an absuer of staff. johnson of course ignored that.
Raab. Again the guy who would be king but lose his seat. blew Afghanistan thing and has ben badly tarnished

I would find the "compromise" that might win an election v starmer in 2 years time.

I don't thank thats wallace. he is only in there due to ukraine war.

It should be Javid PROBABLY, but will be hunt or raab.
