If this one comes off I get the feeling Summerville will want out. He is a product of the Feyenoord Academy and will feel not valued as another player from his old club comes in ahead of him. Plus not much difference in age..
By all accounts he has a great attitude, is more of a team player, and doesn’t have that sometimes disruptive Dutch attitude that Summerville appears to have.
Bielsa obviously had a problem with Summervilles attitude, Jesse touched on it when he started so the lad definitely has issues. I thought despite all my reservations on Jesse handling players like Summerville would be his strength, it might still be, or it could be he joins a list of players who just can’t help self destructing
One to watch on players attitude. Phillips obviously not happy in the role Marsch wanted from him, Harrison another Pep disciple loved Bielsa, Summerville came for Bielsa and he was even talking to him on the phone, along with his parents, which sealed the deal. Be interesting to see what else comes out of the woodwork with the kids as well as first teamers
