Is that a guess or have you read it somewhere? Cause Arsenal only have 3 first team players who are 29
There's one guy getting named in a lot of places. Once he isn't in training or travelling it becomes blindingly obvious. There is two aspects to this stuff for me. First the press are flouting the "can't name people and judge in court of public opinion" thing with this stuff But Second the ****s have been getting away with bad behaviour for years and years with super injunctions so it's at least a deterent. The assumption in general is allegations are not made lightly.
Who knows but there's not many names at the party is there.... Obviously we can't name him cos we'd be liable if we did. It could be any 29 year old international Premier league player due to go to world cup and off on preseason tour shortly while also living in Barnet.
Rumours are that Everton will not be spending this summer. The fact that the paper tiger that was moshiri has now not got his oligarch silent partner/illegal sport washer seems to not be a factor. The stadium.is getting built though so the money that's not paying the bills seems to be flowing from richarilson deal to keep it going.
Be nice big stadium for them in the Championship. The squad is the same **** one that almost go relegated last season, bar adding a relegated Burnley player and losing the only one who scored goals when he he could be arsed to turn up. Surprised DCL hasn't decided he wants out yet
right now arsenal's transfer policies look in tatters Veiria - attacking midfielder type. they alreadt had 3. Jesus. failed striker/winger they have plenty of those the areas where they are weakest look to be imploding for a variety of reasons. Midfield ahem. multiple issues. no sign of any interest in fixing it. Defence is weak kneed. On the other hand spurs look like conte is assembling a team of divers and **** bags. so suit him down to the ground.
I think Jesus is decent for them. They only have nketieh as a striker so Jesus brings some experience and can play centrally or drift wider if want to play both of them. They do seem well stacked in winger/number 10s though. Saka, Martinelli, smith-rowe, vieira, odegard. their defence was actually decent in terms of stats last year. Think it’s against top 6 that they really struggled, but they had something like 4th best defence in league? Had a few injuries early so a settled back 4 should be solid for them. Agree CM looks an issue though. Xhaka, elneny, partay all a bit meh
Both keepers are bang average. theres a serious love in round ramsdale but he is absolutely nothing special. Right full, the lad tomiasyu is a classic RB, defensive player. decent Left full. teirney cant stay fit and tavares is well... tavares. technically challenged defensively to be kind. then CBS: white and gabriel. flaky and disinctly average players backed by holding and a few they didn't even want who were sent on loans. Arsenals stats were alright cos they did the work v bottom half teams but every time they met a decent side they were absolutely cut to ribbons. zero dig in and zero solidity. I don't actually see what arteta is trying to do as he's effectively now got 4 players who could all say no 10 is their desired position but he played lacazette there half the time.
I assume they still need PL approval to spend due to their FFP issues though i assume they will be allowed to spend some of the Richarlison money . Moshiri also probably worried he might get caught up in another tranche of sanctions
Moshiri was only ever a front for Usmanov. the guy was only ever a paper billionaire and i recall tobes being really gleeful about this purchase as it was back by the russian oligarch. now thats all gone. The building works ongoing would be a worry for me. thats going to have to be funded and the team can't be. It looks very very very bad at everton
most billionaires are "just" paper billionaires . The team could be funded if they hadn't made such horrendous losses for the last few years and i wouldn't be surprised if they made losses again last season hence the probability they still have the PL overseeing their financial position ..
