just the same as every transfer window then, only difference is we are not shopping in the reduced shelf in Jack Fultons anymore
It makes sense at LB because Elder is meh and Fleming has played 6 months of Championship football. Longman and KLP are actually pretty good. And there's been lots of stuff from reliable outlets that KLP is close to an exit

Longman hasn't done much outside of a purple patch of form. He may well be leaving, but it doesn't mean these rumoured bids are 'obviously' the KLP money.
Rarely comment on players (player evalution above my pay grade, although I though Waggy and Chillo were great) but I also think Flemming is a terrrific player especially going forward and I was really impressed with his interplay with KLP. So like others surprised we are in for a left back
Wonder where that leaves Cartwright/Ingram. I guess Ingram probably the one to make way in a couple of years. Great to have such solid keeping stocks.
Ingram sold next year after Cartwright has had a year’s experience as a number 1 in League 1 would be my guess.
Yes but its an awful lot of fun. Beats reading about Roe v Wade, the war in UKraine, Boris, and other depressing news. I follow all the news closely but for entertainment I read the Not 606 City forum. Beats paying for a streaming service.
Think it's been accepted that KLP will probably go, but if there is a finite budget then it's unlikely they'd spend the KLP dosh before it's actually come in. The comments about FFP headroom at the time of sale suggested they were always going to invest, as we appear to be seeing. As HT2 suggested, the 10m Muriqui fee was offered prior to bids for Keano being received, and by all accounts there's still a contract offer on the table should he wish to stay. Could it just be that with FFP likely to be tightened in coming years that they are spending whilst they can to give us maximum advantage going forward?

I know what’s in the news, I don’t watch the news! However this thread is like kids playing football manager in the real world, most of its bollocks & it’s getting annoying!
