Bruce's position as manager isnt the subject of any of the conversations amongst fans. Is this a trend or a blip?
bruce out useless twat better have us finishing above his heroes this season and maybe a derby win but can't see it!
You call dropping 2 points on Saturday a result?, if we were playing league title contenders, or a team going for europe or the champions league, I would say comimng back from behind twice to snatch a draw was a result, however, we were playing Villa, first half great, second half midfield went missing, SB stood on the touchline & looked like he had'nt a clue what was happening or what to do about it, Meyler I think is a fine player with a good future, but, Gardner should have been brought on to give a bit attacking strength in midfield, do the honourable thing SB, your time is up, your team has had time to 'gell'
Villa team was made up from some excellent players mate. Their back 5 of Given, Hutton, Collins, Dunne and Warnock were superb. They have 2 good frontmen in Judas and Al-bung-a-whore and in Petrov, N'Zogbia they have pacy skillfull midfielders. I even thought Heskey had a good game in an unfamilair role. Dont underestimate their ability as a team kidda as I think they are a canny outfit. We could have won but had to settle for a draw and it was probably a very fair result to be honest. We came back twice and have done this over the past 2 or 3 games now which shows some great team spirit. I'm not saying Bruce is now all of a sudden the greatest but the fact his position as ourt manager, the subject of much discussion recently, is no longer on the agenda on these forums then maybe the frenzy is over, if not the opinons changed eh? Forget the Man Utd game , if at the end of the next 5 games we are still talking about the football and not the manager, then even BoB's like me will be very happy indeed, as it means the results and football is the main talking point and we will be doing okay. At the end of the day, that is the one single most important thing for us all surely?
No, I'm saying this is not the first time this season we have had to fight back to rescue a draw, at home, nobody doubts the soirit of the players, I doubt the awareness of the manager
And you are not alone, I dont think you will find one person, apart from Bruce, who would see a change is needed, look at the bench and see Cattermole, Gardner and Meyler then pick Mayler. That said, Cest is spot on, Bruce is here until Short decides otherwise and November will go a long way to sorting that.
I have questioned my loyalty to Bruce on occasions during the start of the Season Norwich being the real low point for me. I think part of the reason people are more upbeat is we are playing some good football and creating chances. Bruce signings: Bendtner, Vaughan, Wickham, Brown, Larson and Sessegnon are all looking good and playing better by the week. We have dropped the silly 4411 formation and were playing with 2 players who actually play on the wings. It remains to be seen if we can pick up the results we need but I am hopeful. If were 11th/12th by the end of Jan and we buys some quality I can see us making a realistic push for a top 10 finish again and maybe an improvement on last season.
I hope the BoBs aren't letting their pitch forks get rusty (Blackburn fans have taken my last bed sheet or you could've had one of those!)
Tony Norman is a copper now. Get him to do a bit of crowd control and strip off if required. Also Monty does the half time draw every other week so he will be around. Baring that I'm struggling. Maybe ask Lionel Perez if he fancies it. God knows........ ****.......wrong thread....
