These Leeds fans get worse. I think they're inbreeding.

Mmm maybe ask yourself how much WUM you do on the Leeds board. If you are 10 points clear at the top and playing well it is one thing, when you are going to stop by other boards and take the piss constantly it is asking for trouble when something goes wrong or a defeat occurs.

No, that doesn't wash, we do not have the amount of Leicester fans on the Leeds board as you do on here, nor do we do it as frequently.

Maybe you should ask YOURSELF why fans from every club like to see you fail.

I don't know what the stats are for these boards, maybe there are more Leeds fans than Leicester that are registered? I recognise 2-3 Leicester fans who love making an appearance on the Leeds board and stating how great Leicester are and their signings. I even agreed once that yes I am jealous of the amount of funding you have, what team in this division wouldn't be? But when you get just 2-3 spouting real garbage it is an invitation to laugh and take the piss when it goes wrong, when I come here it is not a dig at the entire Leicester fan base, it is a swipe at those 2-3 that make the appearances on our board.

I have discussed this before with a few people, I don't think Leeds fans are hated as much as they are made out to be. Probably stems back to the hooligan days, I was around then and I was ashamed as any other genuine fan, why do you like to see Leeds fail?

ristac, you could always follow the example set by BoleynAli on our board today - A genuine fan, came on here to discuss our game against West Ham yesterday and was made very welcome

Maybe I will after Saturday, to be honest I never like taking the piss, it will always come back to haunt you one day. I have just been reading the Leicester fans opinions of Beckford, I just prey he doesn't hit form on Saturday. He always scored goals for us but he was a lazy player a lot of the time who always put an extra effort in against the better teams and when the TV cameras were there. West Ham being one of the better teams I am surprised he played so bad by all accounts.

We had a couple of Leicester fans trying to take the piss out of us over Kasper and Beckford, we said we would not have Beckford back over Becchio and McCormack when you first signed him, we honestly would not swap Lonergan for Kasper. Maybe Kasper is an improvement over your last keeper, he is an excellent shot stopper but that is it, or it was for us.

I enjoy listening to others fans opinions who watch players week in and week out, I know a Swindon supporter, he told me despite his goals Paynter was ****. I also remember a Cardiff fan telling us to give McCormack time, he will come good he is a decent player and he has. I also remember Ipswich fans telling us how crap O'Dea was and I have to agree. A small amount of WUM from this board just thought it was jealous talk when they were told a few truths but hey ho...

    See you next Saturday ;)

ristac- cheers mate very good input which is welcomed. When I look at beckford I am honestly very worried and confused. He has just come to a new club you wouls think he would want to show what he is made of, hit the ground running. Also, his goalscoring record amazes me, I thought 8 goals in the prem when he hardly played and tons of (mostly very good) goals for leeds would mean we had signed guaranteed goals. Yet he looks totally and utterly ****e in every way, doesnt poach goals because he cant be arsed, and doesnt do much else, his touch seems poor he doesnt seem to have the pace i thought he had, and is one of the many reasons we leicester fans are a tad embarassed at the minute. You know most of us didnt expect it to be easy, and most knew we would not walk the league, but we did think it would not go as tits up as this. There was even a marvellous morning I thought Martin O'Neill would come back and it would all be worth it, but now I have lost total faith in this season and in much of our squad. For all the money spent the 1st names on my team sheet would be wellens, dyer and howard- because they care and make a difference. bamba and nugent are good as is kasper, peltier looks like he has potential and konch is getting better, the rest....meh. here's hoping we find a manager who can make city worth watching.

    @ mine's a beckford

Well Sven was being a tit signing everyone without a thought. Beckford is a goal poacher and he will always score goals in the right team and set-up, he isn't and never will be a grafter. You have to blame Sven for signing so many players without a thought of how they were going to fit in. I did not rate Sven before and after watching what he has done with Leicester I would place him in my bottom 10 managers in the country. He just hadn't got a clue of who he was going to play where and who would work and compliment each other. On a positive for you lot if you do get someone in who has got a clue at least he has a big squad to work with.

We need someone who likes their feet on the ground i.e hughes. If a numpty like micky adams got us up im sure hughes can turn us into a topflight team. He has alot of potential and atleast hes not a unknown quantity.

Mark hughes. If keegan came here it will be for the money and we could be crap

Sven has built us a solid defence. Kasper, Peltier, Mills, Bamba and Konchesky will keep alot of clean sheets

The midfield is full of good midfielders but so far we are yet to find a system where they all fit and probaly never will with 7 centre mids and 1 winger

Nugent and Beckford are a quality front 2 but Beckford is yet to get going. Maybe saturday will be the start for him

He'll have been a bit disheartened by the career set back. I don't intend that as a wum, hear me out. He was at Everton, playing in the premier league, doing very well for himself. He showed he had the talent to make the step up with the goals he was scoring. Then Everton go bust, have to find any money they can and basically force him out the door. He's back in the championship, he's no better off (except for maybe a bigger wage packet) than he would have been had he stuck with Leeds. There's no guarantee that Leicester will get to the PL this season, in fact, it's looking less and less likely, or even in the next 2 or 3 seasons unless you can get a manager who knows how to make a decent signing. He's 28 now, looking at the prospect of finishing his career in the Championship - he's still got the talent to play in the Premier League but his opportunity has been taken away.

That's probably why he can't be assed.

how is what I wrote anything other than the truth? He has always been a bit lazy but if he's not even poaching goals then his motivation is shot.

Why would I be banned from the Leeds board?

I actually offered some objective input as to why Beckford's not really got started yet, and if you read it without thinking "this guy is just anti leicester" then you might see that what I wrote is probably true. Poaching goals was his talent, my dad likened him to Alan Clarke a couple of seasons back - of course not as good, but he noticed similarities. If he's not doing that when given the opportunity then something is wrong and my reason for his lack of motivation is pretty much bang on the money - he's 28 in a couple of months, after his career taking off late in relative terms, he's looking at the possibility (not a definite) that he might not play in the Premier League again, after a single season proving he can more than cut it there.

TBH I thought you were being fair and objective - carry on like that ;)

Maybe he will perk up when we play you - if he doesn't then we know that he is a lost cause.
