If it speeds up the time it takes to make offside calls using VAR it has to be good but I would be happy if they just got rid of VAR completely.
All for it personally, correct decisions are required across the board in football and if its quickest - supposedly 1/3rd of the time taken to come to the right one - all the better.
So apparently 12 cameras on each player to get a full picture of movement and position for mak8ng offside decisions. Just imagine how little movement there would be for those 12 cameras tracking Shelvey for 90 minutes.
Interested to see how this works. If it speeds things up so we don’t play for 30 seconds before then bringing play back then all for it. The 3d imagine from ideal angle is nice as well, stops them putting lines that never seem to quite look right when the angle isn’t side on
May be best to differentiate between VAR used by FIFA and the inept version we have in this country, If I recall in the last World Cup, it was generally quicker and worked well.
