Makes a mockery of the British legal system, that's for sure.

    Lol at his court case!

And yea he is fit, he came on last week against Crystal Palace. Chances are he will struggle to get into the team now with there only being 5 subs allowed!

This uncertainty must be worse than serving a sentence, it must have an affect on the guy, it is bringing the Justice system into disrepute, and what if he is proved innocent, there ought to be compensation for the distress caused.

Is that compensation for distress caused to us fans? Should we all file against the court?

No. They have a thankless task and do the best they can. No matter what they do, even if wrong, no-one deserves the abuse they received tonight.

I heard it was Barnards lawyers that have got the court case moved and delayed, weird how it's moved to near to the end of the season.
Any one else think he is trying to delay it to make him have more time to show he can behave?.
I have the feeling he will go down tbh.

Don't understand why his lawyers thought he wouldn't get a fair trial in Southampton. It's not like he plays for Pompey is it? These delays would only make sense if he was playing, but we've scarcely seen him since the incident.

That's not how the legal system works - even if he becomes the king of the Samaritans in his time until the hearing, the decision will (or should) be made on the facts of the case and nothing else.

I know that but it would help towards, showing it was a one of case and that he is sorry etc. Yes he would still go down but the judge would be more lenient, as it would show it was out of character.

In other court related news those Pakistan cricketers have been found guilty. Can't believe they denied it, when you look at what happened it was bent as a 9 pound note.

As it should be, if found guilty the sentence should be used as a detterent as well as punishment for a nasty crime. There is no excuse for the delay unless they consider the case as not too important.
