Of course, the Tory bots ha e gone into overdrive to get Claudia Webbe trending That would be the Claudia Webbe (not "Claudia Webb" as so many of them are calling her...) who isn't a Labour MP and hasn't been one since last November
"There cannot be double standards." I think you'll find that there definitely can be! Pincher's been suspended, though. Again.
Far be it from me to defend Fiona Bruce, but your first tweet is countered by your second. She doesn't say that he didn't know that, she asks if he thinks it's a legitimate question. Question Time audiences being made up of Tory plants is just standard behaviour now. Bloody looney lefty BBC.
So.....Johnson impregnated his hairdresser (hairdresser? WTF!) and she's been shipped off to Canada. Good joke below, but we at least now know what actual operation Johnson likely undertook last week! Snip!!
What you have is, those who voted Tory claiming they've never actually supported the Tories (mind you, they were too ashamed to admit it to pollsters BEFORE the GE so not much change there), you have those who voted Leave claiming this isn't the Brexit they voted for (Farage being one along with every fckwit too embarrassed to admit they were duped), those who get wound up by asylum seekers claiming they're not racist, those who curtail the right to protest claiming they're not against free speech, those who support beating down on workers' pay and conditions claiming they support the working classes. None of the fckers have the courage of their convictions so no surprise they aren't around. And those that are, are reduced to shouting "woke!" at the mundane and the trivial to distract from all of the above. Fck 'em!
Interesting question but I am not the one to answer. However given that millions of people vote Tory, statistically I would think some of them are on here. They may have a problem with BJ but surely some of them should be able to put forward some sort of argument for voting Tory - even if that did involve ditching BJ. Due to the fact that nobody argues an alternative case this thread is just about Tory bashing which may be fun but is not really a political debate. Another forum I used to visit had three threads - one for each party - so you did get some sort of debate. Never mind, if nobody else wants to hear an alternative view that is how it is. Nobody can force Tories to present their argument.
Especially given what I'd suggest is the older demographic on here. I'd suggest that a lot of us sit quite a bit farther left than most of the mainstream parties, though. There are definitely some more conservative posters on here, but I think they're more small c. I can see why they'd be appalled by the current government. There are plenty of reasons not to like them, wherever you sit politically.
As I've mentioned a few times on here, the Tories on Croydon council have been gaslighting the public for years by claiming the Labour council bankrupted the borough - while always conveniently forgetting to mention how the borough's funding is around 20% of what it was in 2010 It's also worth asking if polling cards were even sent out, as last year's referendum on whether Croydon should have an elected mayor saw Tory-voting Croydon South receive regular reminders that the ballots were going to be open, yet Labour-voting Croydon North were very much kept in the dark until the result came in
I have very little respect for any politician these days. I always vote but tend to vote against the ones I like least - which is rather a shame as it would be nice to trust people who are paid to benefit the country and its people. There is no party at the moment that seems to have a decent coherent set of policies. However I am the first to admit that it is obvious which party occupies most of the bottom of the barrel.
