There used to be an old fella in our local years ago, 6 pints of bitter, 6 Gold Label to top them up, every night of the week.

 

Yep first wife, new it was mistake so did some lines and a top shelf pint. Woke up in the Honeymoon suite with a paramedic trying to bring me around as she thought I was dead. Nice of her to call an ambulance tbf.

 

Twas deadly stuff

That said, Cherry B (a birds drink) was ****ing powerful too.

My first Mrs drank that,she was a piss head though

 

I couldn’t thing of a worse drink, parents had a pub when growing up, was about 9 and snagged a bottle. Me and a friend tried it, not good.
Closest ever came to the same taste was warm special brew.

 

bet he was only 23, that would put 50 years on you

That Gold Label stuff was truly awful.

Think it was a barely wine rather than lager though wasn't it ?

Off down Brighton for a day on the piss. Sesh starting at around 12ish so not sure what could go wrong really.

 

Going to punish my liver today up in Leeds, Headingly and the T20 Cricket.

Just arrived, paddle boarding for a couple of hors, then a 14 mile bike ride, I'll have earned those beers tonight.

 

Making ice cream today. Out for a bike ride later. Then down the harbour for a swim with the little one after school
