1) It'll be delayed as long as possible. 2) The inquiry will then be led by someone in some way related to someone in the party. 3) The report will then be delayed whilst stories come out in news about all the variations of incompetence and corruption. 4) The other parties will criticise the government whilst Boris repeatedly tells everyone that he believes he did the right things and for them to wait until the report comes out. 5) The report will show the government to be incompetent and corrupt. Johnson will say that we've talked about this for months and "the public" wants the government to move on and deliver on promises. They muddy the waters so much with their disgusting behaviour that it's hard to nail them on one issue of incompetence or nepotism before we've moved on to the next one.
Johnson admitted in an interview that he deliberately likes to have so much crap on the go straight after each other in a "Kafkaesque" torrent of **** policies and lies so the media cannot keep up. Just as they get their teeth into one story another pops up, then another, then another and the media don't know whether they are coming or going. He is not a clever man, but by God he is devious.
Watching just now, the golf in the States... One commentator says look how long the grass is, another American commentator says a bit like Boris Johnson it needs a haircut. He is a figure of fun, worldwide..
As was the previous one. And the next one. The only difference is in the amount of scrutiny. All the dodginess carries on, but the supporters of whoever wins decide to look the other way.
I suggest you do a bit of reading on political scandals. During times when there was far less scrutiny, far worse went on.

I’m talking ideology. This is the closest we’ve come to fascism in my lifetime. Never thought we’d elect a xenophobic authoritarian government.
