Sadly, a reflection on the quality of the low-lifes that populate all these forums. You seem seem like a decent enough person (for a Chelsea fan) just ignore em, but it's still probably too much to hope that if you do, they will go away.

    ...how exactly?

    ban·ter/ˈbantər/
    Noun:
The playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks.

    <doh>.

Back to the swearing issue again, if you have such a problem with it - why do you continue to use a football forum? In fact, why do you even like football? You must hate it in the terraces. I'm guessing all the Spuds don't swear...

    <laugh> Cheers, I agree.

Truth is though, people like Jayram aren't actually trying to wind me up they are just speaking their mind.

Yes I was aware of the picture's meaning, I meant expand as in how am I burying my head in the sand? 5-3 is not getting stuffed. 5-1 and 8-2 are though...

A fair opinion, however I personally don't see how winning by 2 goals is stuffing somebody and a lot of people would agree with me.

Im going to go out on a limb here and defend the term stuffing. I dont think that the stuffing is entirely related to the size of the win. It is more related to the size of the win in relation to the expected result, as in knocking the stuffing out of somebody, their confidence, belittling them etc.

So in my mind it was in fact a bona fide stuffing.

in any book 5 goals away at the bridge is a stuffing, whether jt is on his feet or his arse. 5-3 well done arsenal, can you win the league, it is clear chelsea won't. just a couple of mancs in the way.

Was Malouda attemting a through ball? It was a real cracker, especially the way he was able take out Terry like that. No defender would have predited that.

As I keep trying to point out, the game has changed, everybody is an attacker and the only thing that remains the same is that you have to score more than the other team. Teams take a risk in defense so that they can break quickly, you cant blame the defense if they get stretched, because they are playing 4v4 each game deliberately.

atcham---Its wierd in my my mind how forecasting the PL championship all hinges on the result of one match! It was a day where several regular high performers had collectively on off-day! That will not happen on a regular basis!!!! There are several of you're tribe saying spouting PL championship victory now , who clearly have conveniently forgotten what they were saying after the 2-8 scoreline!
