I can only assume Fuller has license to tee off here.

 

I mean it makes perfect sense to not bring in Gubbins, as a left hander. But I was expecting it to be Fuller.

 

I think it's a great idea too. The plan is not only for Fuller to be aggressive, but also to, hopefully, allow Gubbins and Vince to come in later against an older and softer ball.

 

Protecting Vince against the newer ball I suspect.

 

Even a quick 20 or 30 from Fuller would be very useful here.

I might have promoted Donald next.

 

Vince, Gubbins and Brown will need to score at least 100 between them I would have thought if we are to win this.

Or just Vince and Brown.

 

This was always very, very likely.

 

TBF Gubbins was always vulnerable simply because he's left handed.

 

I suspect we'll fall 50-60 runs short but at least we're giving it a good go.

 

Really bad last half hour before lunch for Kent. And just before the new ball too.

Strong chance that Surrey will win that now, if the rain doesn't get involved tomorrow.

 

Donald takes the the required runs into double figures in style.
