Ok Only seen the highlights and read every report I can find off tinternet! It seems the continuing improvement from Hull continued , and maybe by good selection or because the hand was forced by injuries! but some things seem to be clicking with certain personnel! The Prince is now stepping up and being the creative Mid we have been crying out for! Big Chris seems to be gaining an understanding with Marv! Marv looks a lot better when the ball is played to him and not just chasing hoofs up the park! Assuming we keep things similar on Tuesday (which might be tough on Eusty and Taylor and Lloydy)then........heres the humble pie bit!
I have changed my mind and think Sean should have till xmas! Lets see where these improved performances go!
Hoping this is turning point ,also hope Sean has learnt a lot from it !

N, can't say it's harsh on Tiny if he misses Tues as he's out for a few weeks.

I still think a decision needs to be made after Middlesbrough.

Don't get me wrong, yesterday was promising, and I'm back on the fence as to whether we should sack him. But January would be too late to bring a new guy in. We should either sack Dyche in two games time, or take the decision that come hell or high water he is here for the season.

I agree with that NNW - I hate the idea of sacking him after such a short time but feel it has to be done now or at the end of the season - the argument for doing it now is for me a result of all the "one dimensional" and "booting it to a front man" comments - together with the lack of use of our youngsters. Now if he can allay some of those fears by showing he does have some tactical nous and does prefer a passing game when he has the right players then I would be delighted to see him stay - everything about him says he is a nice guy - but we all know where nice guys tend to finish....

Agree a small improvement v Hull continuing yesterday ! I think that should be enough to buy Sean more time ! If the improvement can continue on Tuesday evening , then getting rid after the Boro game may be a bit harsh! Lets see what the next 4 or so games bring !

Obviously this was a good result for Dyche . More than that, it showed that his tactical approach is not totally one-dimensional ; he set up the team to play with a bit more creativity (pairing Hogg and Bauben in midfield) and adapted during the game to stiffle a team with attacking intent (getting Hogg to play deeper second half). So a big positive for him--but is it a turning point or a stay of execution? The game could have gone either way, and remember it did turn on a dubious penalty and a shocking bit of defending from Peterboro when their off-side trap failed. I still think it depends on how we play, and what kind of results we get, between now and the Ipswich game-- especially on the results against Doncaster and Bristol. Lose both of those, and his position becomes nigh on untenable. Win them both, plus one more , and he is safe for the season. Well, till the end of Feb anyway.

It would appear from the last two games we are improving. If we continue at this rate, i would expect a lot of humble pie to be on the menu for a few people. Long may this continue!!

I know, but not from everyone. There are still people who will doubt him, but i think a win tomorrow and then a win on TV at the weekend will settle some nerves!

I think we were in control at the end of the half. We never looked too troubled, the worst we had was their free-kick which hit the post. But yeah, lets focus on the next 2 games.

Well I think that he isn't doing too bad at the moment and he may well develop into an OK Manager. But...

...just think what O'Driscoll would do with this squad - and he won't be available for long.

When Tiny's fit could always switch Marriapa to right back(provided Nosworthy is still here and performing)
