I am sure that the BTO had some statistics they piblished a few years back that suggested that cats were a problem for birdlife. On the BTO Garden Birdwach form I fill out each week, there is a line for domestic cat so the data is being collated. I am not a fan of domestic cats but would love it if I had Scottish Wildcats in my garden. Those kinds of felines would be acceptible and I would love to see Lynx reintroduced. Better to have indigenous species in your garden than imported ones, including Grey Squirrels. Still, I think that the treatment of animals by Zouma was pretty disgusting.

Jose Mourinho gets a letter delivered to his house in Rome. Opens it and inside is an electricity bill passed on by £17000 from Manchester Utd Football Club.

He rings the club and says “I think there’s been a mistake. You sent me a bill but I haven’t worked for you for years”

“No Jose there’s no mistake. You were the last person in the trophy room in 2017 and you left the bloody light on!”

I do wonder how many of these refs were forced to step down.. Pretty coincidental tbh.

Officially he's resigned to save face but he's effectively been sacked over VAR and the standard of officiating. About time.

I wonder if the FA can start recruiting the right characters of officials to bring the game back into the modern time.

Howard Webb is rumoured to be lined up to replace Riley which would be a good move IMO.

Yeah I've seen this too, one of the much better Refs, also he has shown on many times he won't be bought by Top 6 clubs, I wonder if they can bring back the best English Official ref back., Mr clatterberg.

Saints fan 86, did your line about not being bought by Top 6 clubs mean to say 'many times'? Or was 'manu times' a Freudian Slip? ;):)

I wondered if the departures from Leeds and Brighton over the last few weeks will increase the odds on them being relegated ? I know that a lot on this board think that Saints will find things tough next season yet I would rather be in our position than Leeds.

Agree on Leeds. Brighton have a solid manager and seem to make sensible purchases. Arguably they bought Bissouma’s replacement last year. So it would be replacing Cucurella. And probably trying to find a striker to finish all their chances. Get that right and they will be fine - likely comfortably so

We are currently 6th favourites to go down, 3 promoted teams, Leeds and Brentford ahead of us

I am sure I read somewhere that we have averaged 15th place over the last 5 years. So 6th favourites to go down seems exactly what you would expect from the bookies. Especially at this stage
