    One of the obscure ones from the group called 'Wizard' drinks in one of my locals. 'Wish it could be Xmas Every Day'.

    He rocks up in our local giving it big balls around April when he gets his royalties paid.

    Looks a right nonce but walks around as though the lord of the manor.

    Many other bands wanted Morrisey? He was brilliant at what he did at the time. Marr transcends the decades. He evolved, was wanted, his talent kept him going. Morrisey had to turn into a right wing mouthpiece and abandon all he believed in to stay relevant.

    I'd agree with this. Never got the "hate" for Oasis. The combination of Noel's writing and Liam's ****ish frontman routine worked. They had some amazing songs, it worked. Neither High Flying Birds or Beady Eye worked. Or their solo stuff.
