"We will have two strikers. One will be very high level but that's all I can say for now. We need a little time because we are looking for the best one for our team," he explained. "It's easier to take a risk in other areas, but in the striker position, I don't want to take a risk. As I said three months ago, I will buy a striker who has the experience and also the talent to score goals. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/acun-ilicali-shares-hull-city-7255417
There's not many you can be that sure of, Messi, Ronaldo, Zlatan and a few others. Socks will be in orbit
I asked the other day but no one actually answered. Can someone please give a roundup of the current gossip and where things are at. Who’s the solid links? Impossible to keep up with this thread.
3 signed unofficially possibly 4. I expect them all to be announced late Monday early Tuesday along with the kit
Adama Traore - done, in the building, awaiting fancy show off confirmation video. Tobias Figueiredo - as above. Allahyar - as above. Ozan Tufan - As above, not in the building but expected Monday. Haji Wright - probably going to Spezia, waiting to hear if he's chosen us or them. Probably them Nathan Baxter - still in talks, will probably end up being a loan. Jean Michael Seri - talks almost done, expected to sign sometime next week.
Would you suspect the UK based forward to be the starting striker or the backup based on the name you have considering Acun said we want 2?
I'm not sure on that one, I thought Giacoms contract ended last season but with them carrying on with the black kit it may have been extended or may just be used on the 3rd kit with a new main sponsor and the home and away kits? I can't seem to get a solid answer on this one
I think they're both equally viable in terms of talent and will push each other and add to what we already have. Nobody at this stage is being brought in to warm the bench.
I know someone asked baz from the mail the other week on his question and answer session on the hdm he said that it was up to the club to comment about giacom not him
