Left testicle of a mastodon? Mummified brain of a pterodactyl? the elongated skull of an ancient royal Callagua Peruvian? a trendy synthetic granite kitchen cupboard doorknob? Fred Flinstone's car following an overnight stay in Liverpool? A stone?
Every player needs to gel doesn’t matter how good you are, helps off the pitch as well. I would imagine not all signings will be a success so it’s important who fits in best in a pattern of play. I would still like to see a couple of proven championship players brought in to go alongside some of these mentioned. Time will tell.
We should certainly get players in at the earliest opportunity so they can gel. The obvious solution is to only sign players no-one else wants and with no prospects of a decent deal elsewhere. They'll definitely go through quickly and they can all gel into a solid mass. Sorted.
Figureido and Seri have both just helped their clubs get promoted to the Premier League, I think they're fantastic additions in terms of experience and we're after a UK based striker too, though if it's who I've been told (and I have been told to keep schtum about this one) they're not very experienced at all.
I’d be very happy if Allahyar is coming in as the main number 9 TBH. Wouldn’t turn down a seasoned goal scorer obviously but with better midfielders coming in his pace in behind will be deadly
Domincan Republic - straight from his Survivor TV show recording I guess. There must be a reason he is coming to UK .
If I’m honest I haven’t got a clue on how good many of these foreign players are only by reading about them which isn’t really the best way to judge a player, I know Figureido didn’t play in all the games for forest but according to the Nottingham post when required he filled in well. (I thought Cook was a good signing) for them. Seri should be very good having played in a decent Fulham side. Interesting about the striker.
Well, as the Allams have now left, I will be buying a membership on Wednesday irrespective of signings and/or announcements
