    Hope you don't mind Leeds-18 ;)

Same starting 11 minus O'Dea for me with Kissa taking his place and a must win match after 1 point in a possible 4. I am unsure of McCormack at present, he needs a goal badly but Becchio never looked more likely to score when he came on.

Would still like us to sign a Midfielder and Defender come January, Howson just isn't doing it for me at the moment, important Clayton doesn't get a yellow or he will be banned for Leicester?

Blackpool off form at present and leaking a few goals, third clean sheet for Leeds 3-0 despite it being a midweek match.

think we need to start rotating a few key players with all the games we've had recently. fatigue will play a part again if we keep picking the same 11. would give sam a game as hes impressed everytime hes come on.

as for mccormack hes still been brilliant even though he hasnt scored in last 3. becchio does look off the pace.

jeese, your quick on this one

I would keep mccormack, he's not playing badly just not getting the goals. O'Dear is just ****. I would consider playing sam though, hes lookin dangerous at the moment.

I really think we need to win this now to keep us ticking, we have gotten quite unlucky in the last few games

I would also keep McCormack in simply because Becchio doesn't look the part at the minute, maybe lack of match practice. When we signed Pugh I said at the time not a replacement for Gradel and while he has done okay I agree Sam looks more dangerous.

No idea why Nunez wasn't on the bench today, if we started with Sam then Nunez and Pugh would both have to be on the bench. If we were 1-0 down or needed a goal it would not inspire you bringing on Pugh

I actually think that pugh brings more to the team than gradel ever did. Not saying gradel was a bad player but that only ever gave you one option and you wouldnt have been able to have white behind him. I just think we are lacking a little bit of inspiration at the moment and sam provides that

Gradel's attitude was his biggest asset though - never switched off. Always got stuck straight back in and never gave them a moment and he was an inspiration to the rest of the team at times with his urgency.

his attitude was not only his biggest asset but his biggest downfall, having little hissy fits on the pitch and punching the floor, getting sent off for stupid things. Everyone always sees the good in him, whereas i saw alot of issues with his overall play

He got himself sent off poorly once. He had a red card this season but it wasn't down to his attitude, he just accepted it and walked off. The poor side of his attitude didn't show for me after the Bristol game. He was an absolute revelation for us and I still miss him.

well, i've seen poor attitude from him this season were he has these little hissy fits (a few against west ham). He jumps up and down like a child and punches the floor, its pathetic.

But then i always said he should never have got player of the season, hes one of those players that just runs fast and causes problems that way.

I noticed it against West Ham, but I think it was down to him being unsettled. He had a few against Southampton too but nothing compared to how he used to be. Again, down to him being unsettled. I don't like the way he left the club at all. Not one bit, stinks of Bates.

I'd rest clayton for this game tom night! Mainly because i wanna prove to these foxes fans that claytons a much better creative midfielder than wellens. I think maybe nunez playing the attacking role and howson playing the holding role! For me kissa has to start with Lees and maybe start becchio for a change.

I wouldn't play Howson in a holding role. If Clayton's rested I would stick Vayrynen in. I'd make 3 changes: Becchio for Keogh, Kissa for O'Dea and Vayrynen for Clayton. I see Leicester as more of a threat and would want a fully fit and not suspended Clayton.

Howson is playing the holding role though. I agree with those changes, although I can't see SG ever doing them. He never rotates.

Sam doesn't do enough for a starting role. Snodgrass is much more of a threat, and I'd argue that Pugh is allowing White to overlap brilliantly.

McCormack's only gone 3 games without a goal, and he's looked lively, so keep him on. The thing is, if he's not scoring we don't have anyone else to do. Maybe Nunez behind a lone striker? Because I can't see Becchio or Forsell playing the same role as McCormack, and Keogh's only going to get a goal every so often.

i dont think we should drop keogh, he is such an awesome player for us and i still dont think becchio can do enough to deserve to take his spot in the team. I'd consider resting mccormack but then he'd think hes been dropped coz he hasnt scored in a few and that could knock his confidence a bit. I'd consider resting howson, his work rate wasnt as high as it has been / shoulda been against cardiff so i'd bring Vayrynen in as well. And obviously for me, kissa in for O'Dear

For what it's worth, I do mind. <grr>

I'll let someone else create the thread for the match after this too. I get the impression that it might get a bit messy!

Ristac, that'll be because Sam & Pugh are different types of players. Sam gives us plenty of attacking options & does a bit of defending when required. Pugh, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. Depends on what we're looking for down the left at any given time.

I think Blackpool is a match at home we really could & should win. I'd therefore start with Sam & bring Pugh on in the 2nd half to shore up the game if required.

IMO Howson should be dropped, when did he last have a descent or half descent game, replace him with Nunez who should play behind Macca and Keogh, O'Dea position speaks for itself, but is Kissa the answer? as i am worried about his silly free kicks around the box, plus he is very slow? not an easy one guys.
