in january we have the reopening of the transfer window.who would you bring in?
i myself would love to see a central defender brought in and i would go for connochini from newcastle,as he has been an absolute rock for them this season and i do believe he has not signed a new contract yet.
what about a striker? i am a great admirer of pavlechenko from spurs and i think he would do a great job for us as we dont have much back up for carroll bellamy or suarez if god forbid they get injured.

I think we'll bring in a maximum of 1 or 2 players. One of them should definitely be a striker of some sort, as Bellamy is being used on the wing. The other, I'm not sure. Either a CB or a RM.

Two guys I'd like us to go for at some point (possibly in the summer) are Victor Moses and David Hoilett. Both are far too good for their current teams, and could easily be persuaded to move. Wigan and Blackburn will be towards the bottom of the table come May, so the time may be right.

A young striker with lots of potential akin to Sturridge/Welbeck

Not convinced we will buy anyone.

We could do with a Sami Hypia.

True, but somone who has a bit of strength. The trouble is we bought young in the likes of Coates and Carroll, if we buy the finished product these players will be ignored.

I think Coates just needs a run of games.

coates is and will be a great player but you need to get great players in so the youngsters can learn and start to fullfill there potential(spelling sorry)we have players like jack robinson and john flanaghan coming through and shelvey etc,so if we brought experience in i can only think it will help, just like when gary mcallister came in.

We have experience mate, I mean it doesnt get any more experienced that Carragher. Agger and Skertle have been with us for ages now too (especially Agger).

I still think shove Coates in the deep-end as Carragher winds down to retirement.

I really hope Coates and agger will be our first choice pairing come next season and with skrtel as back up thats not bad.

carra the great defender he is and nobody in there right mind can disagree with that,is now starting his last hurrah, agger great defender but gets injured and skrtle, well i am not completely convinced with him, good player but prone to wander and make mistakes, but on his day an absolute rock.
yea coates does need more games as you say with carra as above.

We could do with someone to start with Agger I supose. I also don't realy rate Skrtle - he can't handle movement.

Coates could be the man, but we could perhaps do with one more untill he finds his feat and Carragher takes more of a back seat.

give raheem sterling a game on the right, i personally feel after watching him for around a season and a half that he has the qualities to cope with the bpl and cause havoc for leftbacks across the country, i dont think we need anyone else atm if we give the youngsters a chance but i wouldnt rule out henry giving kenny the green light for a big name
