Nin - I think EFL rules state you can sign as many loan players as you like, but you can only have 5 in your matchday squad at any one time.

Would still like to see an old (ish) head brought in up front. And in CM to be honest. Overall average age heading in the right direction.

That would go down well out west. If the offer stoke have made doesn't keep him, I'm not sure the swans will entice him. Like ours, their finances won't be better than Stoke's . Unless, as Bale's representative has said bout him, the next move isn't about the money. Nah, we'll take Rambo, but will let a few of our young guns go to 'port to help them complete their next step. Zimba is there for the season, with a couple other ex-city players. Would be good for Wrexham and Newport to go a step further and get promotion and for us and the swans to make a better fist of the Championship than last year, though I don't see either troubling the top spots. I’m surprised by that and can only infer his agent couldn’t find a similar placed club to pay him more than what he’s now to earn. That is unless the club caved into his wage demands - it’s only a 2 year deal though; I’m sure he would have wanted 3. It adds more intrigue to our first pick central midfield following the signings of Andy R, and Adams joining Colwill, Wintle and Ralls. It also is a concern that none of these are a genuine playmaker. Apart from Colwill who’s best position is a bit of an enigma, they seem to be all workhorses. So where’s the creativity through the middle of the pitch?
