We covered this an hour ago balldrick! You don't know which players they scouted and which were on the lists. You know the ones nufc decided to cough up for. The restraints our poor scouts managers etc etc are removed almost completely. I asked you a simple question are you going to answer it? What has recruitment been like since the restraints were removed?

I’ve answered and none of the signings bar Bruno where surprises on the quality front. They where established players. That is less scouting and more epic business deal acumen. I am yet to be convinced so far.
So then the system is working isn't it? The scouts and the manager are now getting the players they want in most cases and not just settling for the **** at the bottom of the lists.
And to put this into perspective. How can we compare any of these signings to Ekitike. Even Bruno is a Brazilian international. So you can’t even compare them to the scouting of a French striker who may or may not make it at PL level. You have not as yet proved me wrong.
And I did say at the very beginning to be careful of what you do. Because I’ve said from day one that the kid has potential. His goal scoring stats are good: but he is raw. There is no guarantee that he will succeed at PL level. And that scouts get things wrong just as much as we do. The actual fact is that it doesn’t appear that he wants to join us. The scouts have this let us down again. Because they failed to judge that he wouldn’t want to join us. Or they failed to acknowledge that he would want to go to a bigger club……..
