Yeah something doesn't quite smell right about the news today. Yesterday all was agreed and ready to go.... saying that agents are idiots and think they can take clubs for mugs and get excessive payments - for in truth what is very little work!
I knew this is the issue we will face going forward, just because Newcastle are on the cards, clubs/agents will demand silly money and we should **** off from those kind of deals.
I think it's bullshit or at least the reason given is anyway. People jump at the things they like or don't like reading, but the reality is always somewhere inbetween. We don't know anything... There's people out there pretending they do though..... The reason doesn't sound right and it won't be.
I must admit, the fact none of the other local journalists have jumped on the story is saying something at the moment, but time will tell. There's been something amiss with this one (transfer) from the off though.
It's becoming irritating, but we don't know the full landscape. We're simply lead to believe things and people pick a reason and roll with it. I would suggest there's a bit of everything involved more so than one specific issue. Clubs, player, players family, agent, other clubs etc etc etc Something isn't right though. I'm hoping newcastle have been given encouragement on Diaby for example.
The other journalists will be sniffing around to either confirm or rubbish this. If teesside tin tin used 90 minutes without checking it that'll be quite funny.
This boro guy? Is he a smoggy? If yes then it's possible he's been hoping for this news and got a bit over excited.
Well whatever happens, come on 1st September, we'll definitely see 4-5 players with 2 already done, Targett and Pope?. We just need to get used to this, at least it's better than being after Choudhary and fail to pay the loan fee... this time last year.
I agree.. There's no point in getting to fixated on Ekitike which im guilty of... Ultimately we've brought in 2 proven prem players so far.
It's like you say though, he could still sign, he could turn out to be class, he could turn out to be a flop. Only time and coaching will tell.
I'm not that bothered..if we are only signing one striker i'd rather they were more established for now.
I'd rather they stuck some more masts up around the ground to improve their signal to be honest Little bastard was to quick on the edit
