Across the last 2 seasons Dubz has managed 39 league games - so half of the games. Quality back up is a must in all positions if you are going to challenge but especially in net and in Pope and Dubravka we have that! Great signing for £10m.

 

Unfortunately people haven't grasped the concept yet.

You have to lay the foundations right.

 

Pope, Botman, Etikite, Paqueta, Targett. Imagine that 12 months ago.

I would be delighted with this, but I sense Paqueta isn't on the cards.

All Pope jokes aside, I do think he's a better shot stopper than Dubravka, whom I've really become confident in, so would welcome the signing.

Distribution wise, he won't be Hoddle'esque, but maybe that will come in the future.
