Were you watching the same match as me? Everton completely outplayed you for most of the game. You were massively lucky to get any points out of that, as you were vs Stoke, Norwich and us. You've got some serious problems.
Morning, I think we certainly looked like we could have lost the game against Everton but then again I'd rather play badly and win than batter team then lose or draw. I certainly don't think we have 'serious problems', if we do have them than what does that say for teams that are 5 points behind us ?
I don't think it always works that way Eric. You've ben playing very average football for some time now, and getting away with it. We've been playing good football (bar spurs ) and not slotting them. Different issues. THis is not wumming. it's a genuine observation and many of your lot where I live agree. Even ferguson looks demotivated.
I agree that we have looked poor for a good few weeks now. Defensively I can't remember us ever looking so bad ( apart from maybe the Larent Blanc period ). The sign of a good team is where you can play poor and take the points though RHC, although I don't think we can afford to continue like this for much longer.
Did you actually watch the match Red, or are you getting your info from MOTD? I listened on the radio and the way it was presented on MOTD was highly skewed compared to the actual game in my opinion. For me, it was a comfortable 1-0 away from home against difficult opposition and we didn't need to the ref to help us out by sending one of them off. I don't think we have serious problems, now Vidic is back the defence should settle although the additional injuries won't help anything. Most of our really difficult games are out of the way now till the return fixtures when HOPEFULLY the CM will have been bolstered by a much needed signing.
I missed the first 20 mins when I understand united were good. However, as the match progressed, you looked increasingly uncomfortable, mirrored by the faces of your fellow supporters in the pub I was in. The fact that the BS haven't really got a striker certainly helpeed. No real need for a dig regarding Rodwell getting sent off. You won't find a true Liverpool supporter who agreed with the decision. I believe we'd still have gone on to win.
