I think it's more a case of who they need to get rid of than how many new faces they need (though obviously they don't want to leave themselves light). Something is wrong in the dressing room, though we can only speculate as to exactly who is to blame. It may be a case of shedding no more than a couple of disruptive egos. It depends on whether the new manager is strong enough to whip them into shape or courageous enough to show them the door.
Think you've nailed it there. Not sure if it's egos or where focus is on, but it's not a team when I look in. Ronaldo will be kept so his ego has to be biggest of all and if others can't get behind his way then it'll be disastrous. Ronaldo work attitude is not in question but he has to lead positively and not do what he has done with sulking and open managerial contempt if taken off or not started. Pure poison.
Ronnie will get them goals, he's quite good at that. However, their dire season shows that it's simply not enough. He's an expensive luxury item if the rest of the team can't play well enough to make those goals count.
Goal v bottom half. Yes. Europa maybe, if arsed. It's the top half games where de gea is glued to his line not earning his 350k a week while maguire drops deep out of pure fear for 250k and Ronaldo stands about on 500kna week mile sip the park. The gaps all that leaves simply cannot be plugged by any midfielders. Villa, leicester, Liverpool, City, Watford, wolves, City, Everton, Liverpool, arsenal, all beat utd prior to the end of season surrender. 7 clean sheets in 38 games.
Looked at this for ten minutes trying to work out why there's only five teams that we're playing if it's the Big Six.....
The way they put the date proper confused me. Who writes 20 Sat Aug if your going to add the day, surely you write Sat 20 Aug?
Perhaps they think it looks symmetrical or something - it just looks daft. Anyways, once telly gets its mucky paws on them they won't all be Saturdays.

It does look to me again that wewould need to have a lead prior to the City v Liveprool game on 1st April or the games left are just too easy.
