Brought to you by supporters of the club that has
been spoilt for 15+ PL goals per season #3
strikers over the past 10+ years.

Bissouma looks like a good signing.
Perhaps a proper replacement for Dembele at last?
But you won’t be able to take the moral high ground over fouls any longer. He’ll be hacking down a few.

No idea, but I'm expecting you to sign Zoolander Petit to play alongside him.

We literally got linked to him last night by a random source, lol.

Never heard of him either though to be honest, has decent stats from the season just gone it seems.

If he's your first choice penalty taker, he'll look like a worldbeater
If you then sign somebody else who demands to take penalties, he'll look like an eggbeater

Can't think who I'm thinking of there...

I just can't see Bale returning to the club.

I just don't see him as a Conte player. Bale's main focus is getting and staying fit for the world Cup. Conte will want him to die for the club.

I'd love to be proven wrong because Bale is still class.

It must be Thursday, Tutto Mercato are linking us with Lautaro Martinez

Of course, on the off chance of this having any merit to it it's certainly worth remembering that Inter insist that Martinez is going nowhere as he's their crown jewel, so there may be a bit of dark arts on Paraitici's part

Seen the 2022-23 fixture breakdown pre WC 2022, have you ??
For starters I've got 6 CL group games that
Bale can immediately be put into the starting XI.

Italian journalist, Marco Conterio, is saying we want to tie Kane down to a new deal til 2027.

In a window where we’re making some seemingly very exciting moves, that might just top the lot.

That would be huge. That would be the rest of his career and pretty much guarantee him legendary status because he would smash the all time scoring record for Spurs and PL.

If Spurs make the signings they’re rumoured to, get Kane to sign a new deal and then sell Ndombele, Lo Celso and Winks then it’s easily the best summer I’ve seen as a Tottenham fan.

Us signing Martinez so that Inter have the money to buy Lukaku back from Chelsea would be an impressive level of wumming.

Sky saying Atleti want Emerson. That’s the ideal club for him. He’s a very solid defensive right back and that’ll suit Simeone to a tee.

Stepped up for us when it really mattered at the end of the season but long term I don’t see it working for him here whilst we play WBs. If we could get our money back then it’s a good deal for us, the player and Atleti.

Yes would be a great move for Emerson at Atleti. Good RB as you say just not a good WB. Fantastic attitude and character really like the lad. His sale will in effect pay for Djed Spence.

It's time to be focused and hard nosed.

If a player doesn't pressure others in his position and can be improved upon, NOW is the time to do it. We have quite a number of players who will be attractive to other clubs - Emerson Royal, Reguillon, Rodon, Sanchez, Winks, Lo Celso, Bergwijn and Bryan Gil come instantly to mind. We shouldn't have to work too hard to get £20m each for those players...and a couple should be worth more.

That's £160m and who of those are we going to miss? If we get Spence in, we're only looking at replacing the centre halves and Bergwijn. Even after sorting our the Romero money and signing Bissouma, we're still minted...even more so if Christian Eriksen returns.

I still think we should have tactical rotation of the WBs, as Emerson demonstrated the benefits of having a WB who can keep the likes of Robertson, Sterling and Martinelli quiet for 90 minutes

We’d probably miss a few from a squad depth perspective and I think people have judged Gil way too early but in general not many would lose much sleep at their departures.

Yeah we’d have a considerable amount of money left. We’ll so far have “only” spent around £70m of the original £150m once Bissouma and Romero are signed, if we assume we do sign Spence and then Richarlison, that’s about an £80m outlay which then maxes out the board’s initial investment. If we can then secure circa £100m+ from player sales, then that’s more than enough for a CB or two and possibly an other player elsewhere.

To say this would be a huge summer window would feel like an understatement, lol.

You'd probably include me in the group who have judged Brian Gil too early. My view is that if Conte doesn't see a current use for him and with that money we can upgrade someone who gets on the pitch, we should. Conte isn't going to be here in 3 seasons' time...

    What's that Elvis...?

    ...Yes, it is.
