I’ve already made my peace with this. I’ve already said I was wrong. I am man enough to do so. What more do you want?
I also think I posted this after us getting hammered by someone and I was probably drunk at the same time.
Oh yes I see. This was the end of our stupidly bad run. After the Cambridge result and drawing with Watford. So at that time yes I was extremely concerned. Don’t mind admitting that. It’s the people who play both sides of the fence that get me. I accepted at that time that we where in serious trouble. And we where. But the owners got us out of it with some stellar decisions. We can all go back to our frustrated posts and pull dirt.
On one side of the coin @Rumsfield said Wood was ****. Then he says we would have been relegated without him. Fact! That’s what I call a flip flop.
And guess what @rumsifelf. Your here right on both occasions. It’s just at different times the situation evolves. Take Joelinton for example. Worst signing in our history by most. Then he becomes beast mode in DM. You predicted and suggested it and got it right. It’s not always cut and dry.
No because you can be ****, but do a job I mean just ask Steve bruce who did aswel as rafa Benitez for 2 seasons
The fact that I didn’t like Bruce and couldn’t stand him doesn’t get in the way that he kept us up and did a good job in the end.
@Darren Peacock's Ponytail i actually agree with @Rumsfield about Bruce. I couldn’t stand the man. He was a leech. But he did indeed keep us up.
Rafa took over a ****show, left us a solid, hard to beat midtable side. Bruce took over a solid, hard to beat midtable side, left us a ****show
