We usually run at about 70 to 80% occupancy. We never hit 100% even at the worst of the peaks. But you don't have to hit 100% for it to be a problem though.

 

Is that because people are better off dying than having the costs of intensive care treatment.........out of interest how much would an intensive care all inclusive stay cost these days in the land of the free

God! I don't even know and don't want to find out. Put it this way, cost us about $5k just to give birth to our last child and that was 13 years ago. Intensive would be far more expensive.

Worse if you don't have insurance. Hospitals charge many times more than what they expect to get paid knowing insurance companies will negotiate them down. If you don't have insurance they'll screw you over and little you can do to combat it.

 

I've seen hospital staff dumping patients on streets still wearing pyjamas which is not a pretty sight and not a route us brits should ever go down....I will say our services are suffering under the filtering away of our money on crap we don't need which includes 2 name just one... high prices being paid 2 big pharmaceutical companies for the drugs which we could buy cheaper but deals are signed behind our backs by scum who have an self interest in getting said contract for said firm....I could go on but John pilger did an documentary on it and it gives you all the information in a much better way than I could on a forum.

 

Yeah, American system sucks. Double or more cost of healthcare than any other country even taking taxes paid into account. Highest infant mortality of any developed country. Lowest life expectancy of any western developed country.

The US system is not one to emulate.

The food industry out with you has some fking nasty chemicals unnecessary added into em which will have a major impact on the poor and low income families......sad you have an organisation in the FDA which is primarily subsidised by the chemical industry and big pharmaceutical along with Satan's sperm mr Billy Gates foundation

not cute the Covid outbreak. A very minor number once vaccine rollout started were in ICU’s vaccinated and even fewer died.

 

A lot of vaccines work that way. The flu shot only averages a 50% reduction in your chance to catch the flu (depending on the year). 50% may sound hardly worthwhile... But it's not the point.

The point of the flu shot and why it's beneficial is that if you do get the flu and you had the shot, it will be much less severe.


I don't know what percentage of cases the COVID shot blocks. It started out surprisingly effective (can't remember if in the 80's or 90's... But much higher than Flu) but as the virus kept mutating as more and more people got it, it became less effective at preventing transmission. Did help substantially lower symptoms though.

 

fully agree and vaccines have proven to save lives. The lack of knowledge on how this type works is shocking, people believe it changes your DNA….

It appears Microsoft cofounder Bill Gates is very much aware of the conspiracy theory claiming he was implanting microchips in people who got the COVID-19 vaccine.

Gates was responding to a tweet posted by The Daily Show that joked: "Wow, Bill Gates encourages everyone to get vaccinated, then a year later Internet Explorer dies. Coincidence???".

On Wednesday, he joked on Twitter that the company had to shut down Internet Explorer because it "ran out of microchips" vaccinating everyone.
