Come on nufc.. Grind it out until the end The last thing I want is nufc just quitting and taking second best like some twitter wimps..
I mean, I do understand the line "there's a long way to go". But we've been trying to do a deal with either of these for 5 months..... I always get that feeling (mainly through years of Ashley abuse) that we just seem ****ing useless at transfers. I'm sure it'll change, but why does it always seem like ours take ages and ages?
Give them both until Monday to make a decision - if they have not agreed terms by then move on! We've been trying since January for these 2 and I'd rather throw a £25m at Nkehtia on a free to be honest
Fans just have no patience or resolve in windows . I want them to have the very opposite and get what they set out for.
Defeat them then you've won and got what you want. I do not understand why some want our owners to just give up
Just think if they want to be here they would be already. Lille are messing us about and Botman unsure if he's got the stones to be apart of the progression here. There are others out there who'd jump at the opportunity. While both are the right profile for the club - young with potential - there are others out there we can get. Early start to the year with the WC coming up so season starts first week of August. Preseason is usually 5/6 weeks so we'd need to be back in two weeks to Benton and I'd expect Eddie will want faces through the door for the start of preseason to gel and mold into the squad so we have limited time to get the players in through the door.
Keep saying it fans need to understand the players have options and you won't find players not more keen on Milan. The clubs are the problem here though imo.. They're trying to exploit nufc and nufc are trying to make sure they don't end up looking weak in the market for years to come. The player might prefer Milan and that's just standard, but that absolutely does not mean they aren't keen on Newcastle. When I go shopping I have options and I usually like more than one option. It's a long term plan.. Howe and his training starting is not a long term issue but signing the wrong players because you flapped it would be.
No surprise any good players have option and it's a ruthless competitive market. It's very difficult unless you're one of the big clubs to do anything
The Toon are linked with this guy today and it's not the 1st time. Could it be option 2? Bullshit? A second?
